First Days with First Grade

I am going to start writing about my classroom activities on this blog as well. My first graders are a BIG, but great group! We have been getting to know each other and reviewing things learned in Kindergarten. We also had Open House on Thursday night and I was able to meet some of their families. It has been a busy last few days, but things are going well. This next week we will start testing on DRA and Dibels. This will keep us busy! I will try to keep my blog updated as much as I can. It is hard with the busyness life at school, but I will try my best! Everyone take care!

All Over the World

Summer is upon us again! I have a lot of new changes going on in my life this summer. I will be moving and starting a new job teaching first grade. Like all summers, I am interested in reading at libraries. If you know a library that would be interested in this opportunity- Please let me know! I also hope to start on a new book for the KatyBug series. I have ideas, but need to put them down on paper. I have found several cute ideas for my ladybug classroom on pinterest.
